Possible glitch when expert salvaging?? - Guild Wars Forums

Hi

I got 3 unidentified armor pieces. They all had minor runes in them. When I went to go EXPERT salvage, yes I used expert salvage, I only got one out of the three runes that I unlocked. The other two just gave me bolts of cloth, I was pretty mad. It did say I unlocked three different runes. What gives? Possible bug or glitch?

Just because you use an expert kit does not mean that you will get the Runes. You see its all upto chance.

The 'unlocked' part means it's now available to choose it from a list when you create a PvP-only character.
It doesn't mean you auto-salavage the rune from an item, in PvE.

apparently theres something like a 20% chance of not getting it, but this is just word
